Satu Nisu

Satu Nisu (b. 1988) is a textile designer from Kuopio, Finland. She entered world of textiles by accident, but after ending on this path, she found her inner creativity and passion for textile design.

Satu is a cheerful, intuitive, and bold individual, and these traits are strongly reflected in her work and the textiles she creates.

In her free time, Satu enjoys spending time outdoors with her dog, Mauno. Nature is the greatest source of inspiration for Satu’s creativity, which is strongly shown in her work.

Satu graduated as a textile and interior artisan in 2015 and as an interior designer in 2016. Since then, she has created stunning and unique textiles that tell the story of her passion and creativity.
